Julie McDonnell Strikes Back Against Cancer: Feature in Telegraph Sunday

As some of our members have rung quarters for Julie McDonnell last year, this may be of interest.

Look out for this in Sunday’s Telegraph (Jan 22nd). Unless there is other breaking news, there should be a two-page feature on Julie and the amazing bell ringing campaign to save lives, in which many ringers have been involved, and which has raised over £7m to date. The CCCBR website will also feature the press release with which they approached the National press in the first instance. St Paul’s will be ringing for the campaign around 2pm on Sunday, and its website will also reference the event. In due course a recording of the event will be made accessible, hopefully, if all goes well, via Bells on Sunday.

The Campaign is still going, so please carry on organising and ringing quarters. There is a Julie McDonnell variant from doubles upwards and they all help raise money.
