The Essex Association of Change Ringers   President: The Right Reverend the Lord Bishop of Chelmsford

Sadly, I have to report the death of Richard (Dick) J Harrison. He died on 7th September aged 85. He learned to ring at Broomfield in 1950/51, and was made a member of the Essex Association in 1952. In the 60’s he moved to Sandon, and became the SE District Secretary from 1968-1972. He moved to Chichester in 1973. He rang a total of 186 peals, 147 being for the Essex Association.
