The Essex Ringing Course is a three-day course designed to help ringers of all ages develop their ringing skills, knowledge and confidence.
The course offers tuition for ringers at a range of levels, from bell handling and foundation skills through to hunting, Plain Bob, Grandsire, Treble Bob and more advanced ringing. Alongside practical ringing in small groups, there are demonstrations, talks and plenty of opportunities to learn from experienced ringers.
Young ringers are especially welcome
The Essex Ringing Course is keen to support the next generation of ringers. Places for young ringers are prioritised when applications are considered, so if you are a young ringer, we particularly encourage you to apply.
The course is a great opportunity to improve your ringing, meet other young ringers, make new friends and spend time with experienced ringers who can help you take your next step.
