Dear members,
There is a module 1 course – teaching bell handling – set up on February 6th (Friday) at Coggeshall which will be run by David Sparling from the Association of Ringing Teachers. Information about the course can be found here: https://bellringing.org/about-teaching/
The day course is excellent for anyone starting out teaching, or even if you are teaching handling already you may get some tips on how to vary your technique or improve the safety of the early stages.
The course costs £30 plus a £5 local cash payment towards the tower fee. If the cost is a barrier, do let me know as grants are available.
