A magnificent day was hosted by the SE District for our 8 and 6 bell striking competitions, at Terling and Sandon, respectively, in the SE district. Both were judged by Hal Meakin of Ipswich and Caroline and Elizabeth Goodchild of Offton in Suffolk.
Five teams entered the 8 bell with the following results:

1st – South Eastern 42 faults
2nd – Southern 67 faults
3rd – North Easter 77 faults
4th – North Western 88 faults
5th – Northern 92 faults
The 8 bell results were as follows:
1st – Chelmsford 30 faults
2nd – Ardleigh/Gt Bromley 44 faults
3rd – Hornchurch 46 faults
4th – Waltham Abbey 47 faults
5th – Writtle 48 faults
6th – Kirby le Soken 49 faults
7th – Leigh on Sea 50 faults
8th – North Ockendon 51 faults
9th – Bishop’s Stortford/Sawbridgeworth 59 faults
10th – Wethersfield 63 faults
