On Saturday, 28th February 2026 from 10:30 a.m. Until 12:00 noon we have our first District Practice of the year at Leigh-on-Sea, SS9 2DE.
This will be the first District Practice for Clare Beech, our Southern District Master who has asked that for those who can, the special method we will be ringing is St Clement’s Major.
Please note that this practice will cater for all levels of ringing and everyone will be given a very warm welcome.
Travel
Public car parks in Leigh:
- Large NCP at the rear of Leigh-on-Sea train station, SS9 2ET (roughly 10-15 minute walk up the hill to the Church.
- Belton Bridge, SS9 2EH (10 minute up the hill walk to the Church)
- Elm Road, SS9 1SL, short walk to the church (90 spaces)
- North Street, SS9 1QE, short walk to the church (34)
- There is very limited parking on the streets fronting the shops at Leigh-on-Sea and time is limited to 2 hours.
Alternatively, let the train take the strain to Leigh-on-Sea station or use the large car park at South Benfleet and go 1 stop to Leigh-on-Sea.
Please do support this practice and perhaps you might treat yourself to a lovely lunch at one of the many cafes at Leigh after the practice.
