Last Saturday, 28th June, an Association of Ringing Teachers course was run at Ardleigh. This was an ‘M2F’ course which gives lots of ideas to take a learner through their Foundation Skills, and introduces ways to motivate and organise a band.
As one student said, “As ever these things are designed to be educational and fun and I think it hit the brief on both counts.”
We had a lovely picnic lunch in the church yard and enjoyed the refurbed bells – even getting a chance to ring the new ten at the end of the day.
