Hello Members
Southern District members are very supportive and last Saturday; 14th June was no exception; we very much hope that everyone who came had an enjoyable day. Thank you to everyone who attended the event (more than 70 people) and to everyone who competed and planned the bands entering the competition. It was especially heartwarming that 7 bands entered the method competition.
Very importantly, thank you to Clare Beech who worked hard arranging everything for the barbeque and to the North Ockendon band who did a magnificent job of cooking and serving us with great barbecue food during the afternoon. Thank you also to the many of you who brought cakes, salad and savouries for everyone to enjoy.
Our band at Ingrave were fantastic hosts, thank you to Liz Atkins and the band for looking after us throughout the day, you all did a wonderful job to help the day run smoothly and to supply us with what was needed.
